Richiemac - a great photo.
You know our neighbours in
Clonallon Gds were McGiverns,

Isn't that awful!

I think Davey lives in Scotland it must be 40years since i seen him. Our Gerard rated him as one of the best footballers ever to play for the point, and i must agree. Martin Peers another great talant lost to the town when he moved away.

Art,
When Martin came to live with us in Glasgow
He joined Clydebank Juniors and continued
playing for some time, before giving up.

He was a very good player.

Davy McGivern and Jim Hanna went to Scotland in the summer of 1967. I remember the two lads walking across the Square with their bags to the bus stop, which was then at the Dock Wall, not far from the First and Last pub. I think they were going to Edinburgh, though I think Jim Hanna moved down to Norwich a few years later.

Whatever became of Barney McGivern of Clonallon Gardens.

Dukestreet - Barney McGivern went to
Vancouver, I think before I emigrated.
As far as I know he is still there.

I remember all those lads, but I didn't know that Mickey O'Hare was a priest.

Great to see that one. It brings back great memories. Not a bad team at that time
I remember the Ryan's running to help me out of a scrape or two on the field on many an occasion
I certainly wasn't picked for my height
