It's not worth commenting on - usual party politics and I won't drag them in here apart from saying all along that this has been a people based decision, and will not be a political football or points scoring exercise for ANY party. If anyone wants to try and score political points go and do it on facebook or somewhere else. Personal opinions are of course more than welcome.

Its a single carriageway, ie 2 lanes, one lane going in opposite directions to the other, as opposed to a dual carriageway etc.

I am a little more relaxed about the bridge this evening and feel confident that 'The People's Bridge' will indeed become a reality thanks to the hard work of many people including local government officials and the volunteers on the bridge committee that played a vital part in ensuring those that take decisions and aware funding could see the value of the bridge and the fact that the people wanted it.
