I'd take a wild guess and say around the late 1940's ? I'm sure somebody will recognise a face or two in there and be able to date it for us :D

Yes Pat, I'm lead to believe that was him.

Billy McKinnley was telling me recently that he stopped in Warrenpoint on his way to Newcastle.

Well there you go...in terms of local places I have only ever seen pictures of him in Newry.....and I think on that occasion he was being arrested !

At one point Newcastle seems to be the venue...perhaps the football ground at Newcastle with Slieve Donard in the background...but I could be way off there !

Would that be the late Tommy Magill with the jaunting car?

I have just been told that the football team in the orange with black strips is the Mayobridge Team. It team members are Grants, Butterfield & Magees to name but a few.
I was also told that the driver of the jaunting car was Hugie Magill
