Apologies for the poor quality. This was taken with a disposable camera on the opening day of the Donmir Inn (hence the reflections in the glass). The workmen had not quite finished and I was over with some of the Boylan brothers as they were putting the finishing touches to the TV system before all the festivities commenced later that evening.

Brian, I think that is your old workplace over there....Visions ??

I'm not sure of the date....possibly late 1980's ?

True, but then it was early in the day.

That's "Visions" alright Pat, with the shutters on, so date wise my first guess would have been more early to mid 80's as the Crown site has not been built on yet, (it was destroyed in February 1982) and then I spotted the little Gold Toyota Corolla in the foreground, and that is a Sixth Generation E90 series 2 door and they were made between 1988–1992 ~x( So yes late 80's it must have been :D

Note: No trees or shrubs and no bus stop facing the 'Donmir'.

And yes, Brian, I have to agree with Pat that your knowledge of cars and photos and other topics is absolutely something.

It takes me back to my childhood in Charlotte St., when I could hear my brothers in the next bedroom guessing the makes of the cars that had passed up the street when it was dark. I still love to hear the word 'Zephyr' as it conjures up images of a front 'bench' leather uphostered seat and the most chrome I had ever seen in my entire life.

Good and happy times. :> :>
