Fantastic programme which I found on tape last night and transfered to DVD.

It lasts 28 Min and I have upscaled it to HD

Brilliant, late 1970's with Parka jackets and clear packets of Golden Wonder (and Leo Sayer's 1977 song "Thunder in my heart" on the factory radio :D Quite a few familiar faces in that film :D

Great piece of movie magic! Eilish Fearon and Roseanne King leaving the factory.

George McSweeney and co in the Square setting up to play music, the lady with the accordion looks very like Dessie McVeigh's wife, Frances, I may be wrong, but it looks very like her.

Sinead's granda, Jimmy the Coyt Morgan, setting up the dog racing.

Really enjoyed watching this, thanks for sharing.

Me too charlotte st, and yes, I'm pretty sure that is Frances (Murphy) McVeigh. Lovely close-up of the late Fr. Tom also.

I agree excellent...where do i start,it is from june 1978..it has been out a year or so .I have my own copy on DVD .as a forum member i'm even on it ,13 years old . how times have changed I would say half of rostrevor have a copy. .. look at the entrance into the fairy glen ... the square.. the cars around town , datsun 100.a...i'm sure brian would know
make and model of the others... .......... will come back to later

I was speaking to Sean this morning and he confirmed that it is him singing.
