Brian posted a link some time ago of some old footage featuring Warrenpoint which can be seen below:

The clip finishes abruptly but the remaining 7 minutes or so can now be seen below and it continues on directly from the previous clip. Warrenpoint features again about 4 minutes in:

Thanks for posting Charlottes Treat, very interesting........many changes have been made since Rowan Hand made that programme................Newry`s new rail station is almost completed, though not exactly where it was intended, and the town is almost ringed by motorways...........great plans for `the Basin` if Gerard O`Hare gets his way, shopping Malls springing up like mushrooms.....a `Boom Town`!!, a pity the canal has been neglected, it could be the `jewel in the crown`,.............at least it hasn`t been filled in..................yet !! ....................................................................

Charlotte,S Treat. It is good to see this video of the Balmoral leaving the Victoria lock,My Husband remembers it very well he was standing at the lock watching it leave with his late father & our son Sean who then was only Three & is now Eighteen.
