It was supposed to have started - I don't have an exact date but I understand it should be soon.

I was in Greenore yesterday and had a look at the building work. While the main infrastructure around the slipway is in place, there still is a lot of work required around the building site. I'd say it will be a few weeks before it's ready. I found some press reports that said the service would start in June.

It was due to begin on 1st June,by the look of the works still being done it will be next June.i don't think its anywhere near ready judging by the condition of the site in Greenore yesterday.all that's there is a concrete ramp similar to the ones in Omeath and the Point.

Was down today and yes it looks pretty much like a building site down there still. Was speaking to a few locals who think it should be operational fairly soon now as sea trials seem to be going ok. Here's a few snaps from this morning.
