Hi Xp, Hockey is full of surprises. Coaches come and go and quite often there is no explanation. The Leafs are getting better each game and Vancouver is trundling along like a herd of turtles. We can hope for the best for both teams. Its time we had a female coach in the NHL. Bad weather in Ontario. Sunshine in B.C. and the Point remains always the place to be.

Hi George - I don't know if we'll see
a female hockey coach.
There are quite a few female sports
commentators now.
Getting off Hockey and into car racing,
what did you think of Danica Patrick,
she is going to lead off the pack, in
Sunday's race. (I think it is Daytona).

Hi XP. Danica Patrick is a beautiful, talented lady competing in a boys sport and doing exceedingly well. She deserves all the accolades. I hope she wins the 500 in Daytona.

Hi George - Watched Leafs and Ottawa
play last night.
Thought for sure it was going to go into
overtime, when Ottawa scored the winning
goal in the last 27 secs.
It was a good game though, between the
two rivals.

Hi George - Hope you are well.
The Leafs are doing well.
They seem to have a good young
team this year, and they are playing
pretty good.
At least they are winning most of their
games.
I see Vancouver is well up there in
their league.
They were always a good team.

Hello XP, Leafs and Canucks meandering along. Four or five points behind the lead in their division. Anything can happen. Keep the faith.

Hi George - The Leafs tied last night
with Boston, then ended up going into a
shootout, and lost there.
Vancouver is a good team, and hopefully
one of them will end up in the playoffs.

George - good news.
The Leafs made the playoffs
tonight.
They beat Ottawa 4-1.
I'm sure Vancouver will be in
there as well.

Hi XP, Glad the Leafs made the play--offs. Canucks won tonight also so they will make the play-offs also. Still need the Hail Mary's though. Keep the faith.

Hi George - Just watched the Leafs
being beaten by the Boston Bruins,
4-1.
Hope the Cancucks will do better.
Do you know if it's still the best of 7,
seeing it is a short season.

George - I take it the Canucks
lost as well.
Not up to date yet on the
other scores.
So it is 7 games.

George - that's too bad about the
Canucks, the Leafs lost again to
Boston in O.T. last night.
Boston now leads the series
3-1.
Not good.

Hi George - the Leafs had a devastating
loss in O.T. tonight.
They gave up a 4-1 lead to Boston.
It was a tough loss.

Hi XP, Watched the game. Devestated like you. I felt for sure they would go to the next stage. They just ran out of steam - nevertheless a great series.

game went 3 O.T's.
Did you watch all of it?
I didn't, just a bit of the first
O.T.

Hi XP, Hard fought games. The pain these players must go through, especially if overtime is necessary, must be terrible. I suppose that is why they earn millions each year. Hope you and yours are all well.

Hi George - An exciting game
last night.
Chicago has taken the series
lead, and could win it Monday night.
They are playing in Boston, might be
hard to do.
