Hi George - nice of you to think of
us in Ontario.
Luckily the storms missed us this time,
and the weather is quite nice.
Lord Stanley will be in the Arena for the
game in Boston on Monday night, hope
he comes back here. :D

George - what is going on with Vancouver
when they play in Boston.
The first period was so sloppy.
4 goals for Boston in the first.
Now we are down to the "nitty gritty"
on Wednesday night with the series
tied 3-3.
Lord Stanley is definately going home
with someone, hope it is Vancouver.

Hi XP, One more game to determine where Lord Stanley will reside for the next year. The Canucks did not seem to be in game six. They will have the advantage of home ice in the final game. I hope they come out a winner. The Hail Mary's are needed more that ever. Keep the faith.

Hi George - I was sorry to see Vancouver
being knocked out again.
They put in a good effort and have to be
congratulated for getting that far.
As the saying goes "there's always next year".

Hi XP, You are so thoughtful. I'm at this minute I'm drowning my sorrows, which is quite pleasant. The loss is disappointing and difficult to understand since the team played so well all year. As you say ' there's always next year'. Stay happy and healthy. I think I will cheer for Rory Mc Elroy next.

Hi XP,The rioting in Vancouver is a sorry state of affairs and does not represent the masses of sports fans in the Province. It's deplorable. Many will pay for this foolishness.

Hi George - I saw all those riots, and what
a shame.
I hope they catch them all and lock them
up.
I don't believe they were residents of Vancouver
who did that.
Take care.

Hi XP, Many of the culprits are identified and action will follow. I'm sure Nothern Ireland is proud of Rory McIlroy for winning the U.S. open Golf. A great feat. Two North Irishmen in the past two years have won this title,

Hi George - watched the Golf tournament,
and it was very exciting, to watch this 22 year old
take such a fantastic lead.
His family I'm sure are very proud of him, not to
mention the people of Northern Ireland to have
2 super golf players come out of there.

Hi George - just saying hello.
No hockey to talk about.
I hope Vancouver is back to normal
again after the riots.
I see an up coming Olympian was charged
with trying to burn a police car.
How foolish of him.

Hope you are well.

HiXp, Always look forward to hear from you. Hope you and yours are in good health. There are some very unhappy young people in Vancouver who believed they could get away with anything. Their behaviour was despicable and it would be scandalous if they got away a warning - thats not going to happen. At eighteen one knows the difference between right and wrong. Keep smiling.

George - hope you are keeping well.
I don't know if you heard about the trade
they made to Vancouver.
His name is Owen Nolan - a local guy from here.
He was born in Belfast, emigrated with his
parents to Ontario when he was just 5.
He played for a local team here and then
got picked up by the NHL
He's played on a number of Teams, but now
at 39 he is going to Vancouver.
I'll be watching him.
