Hi XP, On the ball a usual. I'm sure many people in the Point follow north american hockey, as well as many other sports. I contacted TSN regarding televising the Ireland Gaelic Football final in September 2011. They have not closed the door nor given an answer- hail mary,s may be in order again. Stay in touch.

Hi George - Tampa Bay and Boston game
tonight.
Should be a good one.

That would be good if TSN televised
the match in September, would definitely watch it.

I will say my "Hail Marys".

My husband, Jim, tell me that Setanta Canada TV usually air the All Ireland Foolball & Hurling on a tape delay basis on their regular channel . They have the games live on their Premium channel which is available at many Irish pubs in the Toronto/ Hamilton area.

Hi George - good game tonight.
The scoring was high and I thought
maybe T.B. would tie it up.
Now the series is tied 1-1.

Sheila - never heard of that network, so I
will have to look into that.

Hi XP and sheila, Knew of the network but could not get it here. TSN has a greater distribution and I felt it would be nice to see them air the Cup Final in Ireland. Thanks for the input ladies. Lord Stanley is getting closer, XP, keep the Hail Mary's going. Stay happy.

Hi George - another good game last
night, with Vancouver taking a 2-0 lead
in the Series.
The prayers are helping George, so I
will keep them up.

Hi George - that was a rotten loss for
Vancouver.
There were a lot of fights in that game,
and the last hit in particular on Rome when
it sent him into the boards. I don't know
if he got a concussion from that, but
Vancouver deserved the 5 min power play,
and the 2 goals they managed to score then

Hi Xp, It appears to me that refereeing in the U.S. is muh more lax than in Canada-especially for American teams. Perhaps its my imagination. Lord Stanley will still come back to Canada in spite of them.

their way after that win today.
It was another good game.

Hi XP, Twas the magic of Hail mary.s that created a golden opportunity to bring Lord Stanley back home to Canada - no other explanation. Happy days in B.C. for this achievement. Four games away from the cup and history. Keep the faith.

Hi George - watched the Boston-Tampa Bay
game tonight, and Boston wasn't able to
get the win they needed to get into the
finals. They have to play another game, so
Vancouver will have to wait it out to see who they
will play. I'm kind of hoping for Boston, but
we'll see.
A little prayer never hurts, so I will keep the faith.

George - Boston won their game tonight,
so they will play Vancouver in the
finals.
The game doesn't start until Wednesday.
If the hockey is anything like the game
tonight, it is going to be a good series.

of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Should be a good series with the best
of the East and West divisions.
I will keep the faith.
Hope you are well.

Hi XP, Two days away from the start of the NHL final. I'm sure you will be watching. Vancouver is in a tail spin with hopes running high. Lord Stanley will return. The Hail Mary's are still needed.

Hi George - already for tonight's game.
I will be cheering for Vancouver
of course.
The only Canadian team to make it
to the finals.
I have already started praying.

Hi Xp, You have the Irish charm, and that, along with Hail Mary's, will bring Lord Stanley back to Canada. I'll be watching the game.

Hi George - 1 up for Vancouver. :-):-)

A lot of penalties in that first game for
both teams.
Roll on Saturday night for another great
game of hockey.

Hi XP, My whole clan are Canadian born. The whole gang is getting together this evening to watch the game, drink some beer, and cheer for the Canucks. I'll be thinking about you and Don away in the wilds of Ontario. Keep the Hail Mary's going its not over until the last puck is in the net.

Hi George - good for you that you
are watching the game with your
family.
I think everyone who is Canadian
will be cheering for Vancouver.
Another great game with Vancouver
beating Boston, to take a 2-0 lead in
the Series., and it only took 11 secs.
in O.T. to get the win. :-):-)

It was wild here yesterday with thunderstorms,
but nice to today.

Hi XP, The Canucks took a terrible beating tonight in Boston - but hope springs eternal and the Gods are with the Canucks. Keep the faith.

Hi George - They did indeed take a beating.
I never saw so many players get ejected
for fighting and for unnecessary hits.
Horton who was injured is from Welland, Ont.
Not too far from where we live.
I hope he will be o.k.
I'll still keep the faith.

Hi XP, There is a wee pub not far from where I live "The Duke of Dublin" will be there to watch the game tonight with friends and family. I'm sure you will be watching the game also. Keep the Hail Mary's going if the Canucks play as badly as their last game it could prove disasterous. Keep the faith.

Hi George - what is happening to the
Canucks.
Hope they play better on the home
ice on Friday.
The series is tied now 2-2, so they had
better sharpen their skates and get going.
The faith is still here.

Hi HP, The Canucks were given a lesson on ice. They should play much better at home.. It's still 2 - 2 but the Canucks were so badly beaten in the last two games it is essential they get a second wind quickly. Keep the faith.

a shut out for goalie Luongo.
Glad to see they are back on track.
One more to go (I hope).
