If you could wave a magic wand above Warrenpoint?

Funny stuff, quotes, general odds and ends that don't really fit in the main forums.

I think the entrance and exit to the Square car park
should be at the Dock wall side only.

The congestion at the Bank corner is a nightmare,
cars trying to get in and out of the car park, cars
parked randomly at the Genoa because people
won't park and walk, and through traffic trying
to weave in and out of the ensuing blockage.

I agree traffic should be able to go straight down
Newry St. by the Dock Wall, through Traffic lights,
and not have to go via Church St., so easing the
problems at the Bank corner.

The whole system of parking and traffic management
should be reviewed, after all this is the 21st.Century.!

As for the parking bays...they are too narrow, I can
occasionally find an empty bay, but if I use it I can't
get my doors open.

Seem to be designed for little hatchbacks, but for the
drivers of big cars....look elsewhere.!! ~x(

On the subject of parking in the 'Point, I witnessed an amusing situation last time I was home. I was passing Millers, on my way to Fegans (as is my wont) which is now a gym ( not Fegans,,,Millers) and a young lady in all her gym kit, parked her car directly outside instead of parking up round on Havelock place. Surely the short walk would have warmed her muscles up for her pending keep fit session!!!

It definitely would have "loosened"
her up, for her keep fit session.
