New appliance for Warrenpoint.

#1 Post by Brian » Tue Apr 24, 2018 10:04 am

JRZ8537 now Warrenpoints S3402 machine on its first drill night last night (24-04-18) it was put into service last Tuesday night when the previous machine (pictured below) was taken "off the run" and retired to HQ to be used as a spare pump. The latest pump was made by Emergency One in 2015 and replaces the Browns Coachworks made Volvo. Browns (based in Lisburn) went into liquidation in 2009 after over 150 years in business. The Emergency One pumps all feature modern LED lighting and are a major improvement over the older machines including being equipped with the e1Fleet Telematics System using a Vodafone based 4G network that connects to the machines on board computer and allows the engineers to remotely check a vehicle.
