Well done Brian. I bet Billy McKinley was looking down on all with a big smile.
For the benefit of those of us who left some time ago, it would be nice if someone could list those in the 4th last photo. Looks like reunion of some of the old timers. I thought I spotted Vano there and in earlier pic where he looked like he was going to start beating the big drum.

And who was the fellow trying his stuff on one of the Dublin drums?

Nice gesture by the Dublin Fire Brigade coming up for the celebration.

Meant to post this the other day but have not been on line much since Monday (another bug) so just doing it now, this is the crystal trophy presented to me by the lads down in the fire station on Saturday for the help I gave them over the past while leading up to Saturdays 100 year event. I was not expecting it and am truly grateful. They really are a great bunch down there and I have been privileged to have been allowed unrestricted access to training nights to take photos and gain a bit of an insight as to how the modern fire and rescue service is run. My thanks go to all the officer's and crew not forgetting the station officers and area commanders for allowing me to be there. "project 100" is over but there are a few side projects that will run on for a while so they have not got rid of me just yet. SO99 signing off (for now)

:D
