Not many places you don't know Northbrook! The gardens are superb.

As family you're excluded from these 'guess where?' photos!

Spot on. Had a 'lazy' break as it was too hot to do too much sightseeing. 35+ every day.

I never did get to Granada Victor, made two attempts when we were staying in Puerto Banus, the heat stopped us both times, got as far as Rondo the first time and Mihas on the next attempt, of course it was midsummer, not recommended at that time of year..................................

Victor that was probably the most beautiful part of Spain, when we used to go in the 1980's when the boys were young i think we done the usual sighseeing tours and visited all the Spanish cities Barcelona, Granada, Cordoba and Seville and of course a visit to the Rock of Gibralter. My favoutite city was Seville with its lovely old Cathedral and Jewish quarter. Also the orange bushes/trees growing along the street amused the two boys, I never had the courage to go to Madrid as i heard it got really very hot in the summer season.
Northbrook was it tourism or golf took you to Mijas, the mention of the name reminds me of two very sore feet when i done caddy for one 16 year old eldest son at Mijas. We knew we would not have him with us again on family holidays so the golf was thrown in to tempt him that year. We also went to Torrequebrada golf course which is nice but more difficult really on the side of a mountain but not as hard on the caddy's[me] feet.

We were fortunate in that the day we visited it was cooler than for the rest of the holiday. Can't cope with Spanish heat midsummer now.

We were staying two and a half hours north of Grenada, in the mountains, about 20mins from Mojacar (pronounced mo-hack-a )Flew to Mercia and got a hire car from there.
