WOW, lovely photo nb!
'Bout the only time of day you'd see the Opera House and no people around.

I presume that is done by HDR or some similar process...of course it takes a good photo to begin with.

I suppose it gives a smiliar result to HDR.............I do this using one image on Corel....................not everyones cup of tea, but effective on some pics.................................................

I like the effect.......I think it probably suits subjects like buildings etc rather than natural subjects such as flowers

It seems a little more 'delicate' than HDR.....just a tweak of enhancement..I like it. The pics themselves are really good.

Great photos, northbrook! I have a couple of your god-daughter on top of the bridge - suitably attired by the guide in overalls, safety helmet & lifeline.......as if that would help you if you fell, banging your head all the way down!

A wonderful experience, climbing the bridge, despite all the gear etc that you have to put on and of course you're connected to the rail anyway so it would be hard to fall. I went up late afternoon in daylight, arrived at the top as dusk fell and came down as the whole city was lighting up, it was just amazing. Glad I did it when I did, couldn't do it now of course with my arthritic joints! :nonono: :nonono:

Love that last photo, but as I have no head for heights that is one thing not on my list of things to do before I die !
