Another Photo from our railway enthusiast forum member Barrie (Biggles) We know the man to the right is Herbie Taylor - can anyone let us know who the other man is?

The gentleman beside Herbie Taylor could be Johnny Dowd who lived on the Donaghguy Road, not far from Ardallan Park. I think he was the father of Jack and Noel Dowd. I remember Mr. Dowd punching the tickets for people using the train.

I agree with Dukestreet and Northbrook - after looking with my magnifying glass I believe it to be J.Dowd. He would be the father of Noel & Jack.
