A lovely, friendly white cat has 'adopted' us, but we need to find her owner as our cat (herself a rescue) is an indoor cat and can no longer go out into the yard as they hiss at each other. She was found in the Springfield Road area.

(Thanks for posting the photo for me, Brian)

UPDATE: I couldn't find the owner of this cat, despite looking for almost a month, so he is now in a foster home in Banbridge. If anyone hears of someone looking for him, please let me know and I'll contact them. I took him for consultation with a vet yesterday and she reckoned he's 8-9 years old, but the poor thing has cancer of the ear tips and, although it's not bothering him now, he will need surgery at some point. The volunteer who took him this morning said that she doesn't think he's a very well cat, but that blood tests will reveal more. If he's okay, they will arrange any medical treatment required and try to have him rehomed over the next few months. They do such a good job, this charity - Pets Lost and Found Northern Ireland - and rely solely on charity.

Marion - So nice of you to do what you
did for him.

A beautiful cat, but unfortunately
he is not well.

I hope it will live a few years longer.

How good to know there are places
like Pets lost and found N.I. who can
maybe find a home for him.
