I was speaking to Northbrook today about this photo. He thinks the man wearing the hat may be Felix O'Hare senior, along with Joe McAnulty, who would have been the father of Brian McAnulty who taught in St Mark's.Felix's wife was Joe's sister(which I didn't know until today).

I thought I was looking at a
young Paul Newman on the left.
He looks very like him in that
photo.

Brian's mother ran a drapery shop in Kilkeel on Newry street. The former shop is now part of a bar. Her sister, Teresa (Tessie) also ran a drapery shop for many years in Rostrevor (Coynes Drapery) on the site now occupied by Hanna's drapery and post office. My late mother worked in that shop for many years before Tessie retired....my mum then opened up her own shop at no 8 Duke St Warrenpoint.

I wonder if the photo above was taken on John Mitchell place / Hill street Newry?
