I think the tall girl on the extreme left, on the back row is the late Monnina Hollywood, from Great Georges Street Avenue. The girl in the middle in the back row could be Bernie Grey, who used to live in Springfield Road, but now lives in England. Bernie was a cousin of the Rowantree family who lived in Great Georges Street. I would guess that photo was taken in the early 1960's. Any one know who the lady standing at the open door is?

I think the Carey family lived in that house, before that the Northern Ireland Electricity Board had their premises there.

Dukestreet - I am always so glad whenever
you identify people in photos.
I remember the Hollywood Family very well.
They were a lovely Family.
Mrs. Hollywood trusted me to take the oldest
Hollywood girl, Bronagh, to school in the
afternoons.
I am going back to probably 52/53.
She always gave me some kind of treat for that.
I remember the youngest girl, whom you think
that is in the photo, but sad to hear she has
died.
What about the rest of the Family.

Maureen I hate leaving photo's unidentified, it leaves to a lot of frustration later on, when people aren't around to identify them.
About 10 years ago I knew a girl from Dundalk, who was going to travel all round Central and South America with her boyfriend. I bumped into her in the Dundalk Shopping Mall about 18 months later when she arrived back in Dundalk. She was telling me she arrived in El Salvador/Guatemala, (I forget which country it was) at the start of her trip, and they went away up into highlands of that country, they travelled deep into the jungle, and they came across a little village, where the people were totally impoverished. But these people were extremely friendly, and shared with the Dundalk couple whatever food they had. There was an Irish nun living in the village with these people, and she was one of the Hollywoods from Great Georges Street, that you used to take to school, back in the early 1950's. I think it was Enda, or Sister Mark as she was known as, I think Bronagh is in Holland?

It's a small world?

Dukestreet - what a lovely story.
I think the second oldest girl's name
was Edna, who is the Nun.
I didn't know she was that until now.
It is a small World after all.
Thanks for the information.

HUGH I think the lady in the doorway is Mrs Savage.
