Sam Ferguson, my old colleague from R.G. Mathers, Family Grocer, The Square, Warrenpoint. Sam lived in Sandy Steet, Newry and I think he was knocked down by a bus on his way to work, sometime in the mid- 1960's.
I believe he has cousins here in the town, the Nesbits, I will check that out. :cheers:

Do you mean the Nesbits from Milltown - Stanley was in my class at Dromore Road and joined the RAF in the early 60's and Sydney (Sidney?) was in my brother Wesley's year. His photo is the on the Schools thread.

Samuel Ferguson on the left of the picture was my mother's brother. He was born on 26 Jul 1904 and was killed at the top of Charlotte Street on the 1st Mar 1970. It was a wet morning and he got off the bus and crossed the road without looking only to be knocked down by a car. He used to reside in Sandys Street Newry.
