Thank you Brian for listing this.
The wall hanging calendar is original and in a paper sleeve.
With regards to the 'Places to Visit -Warrenpoint' can anyone advise on the location of Crown Mount.
Is Slieve Cullion a reference to Slieve Gullion ?
There is another Warrenpoint business listed which I will forward to you for insertion.

The Crown mount is still there in the corner of the hall estate, and would be one of the reasons the Mount/Mount road got it's name (it was shown on old maps as the Rathfriland road) - it's overgrown and not really accessible but at least still there :D

And yes I assume Slieve Gullion as opposed to Cullion (even back then they made mistakes on maps)

Thank you for the information on Crown Mount.
Can anyone explain why the name was changed from Mount Road to Mound Road.
If the Crown Mount is of historical importance (as described on "Places to Visit.... Warrenpoint " in 1912) can the name not be reverted back to its original.
What historian(!!!!) was behind this name change and other name changes around the town?

The naming of the Mount/Mound road and the continued misspelling of the Clonallon road (to name but one) falls firmly in the "nobody is taking the blame" category, and has been discussed here before. It was either whoever makes up the road signs, a census taker, map maker or council official but I can't seem to pinpoint what exactly it was ~x(
