I'm not sure if this photo has been previously posted - if so I can't find it.

I don't have a date - any ideas? And is that the Orange Hall in the background?

Yes, thats the Orange hall and Marion lodge, the field was always used by the boys brigade (and others) for many years, including the circus

It was in our family by the 2nd world war, and was vested from us by the council in the 1970's for public housing, and later sold by them to a private developer. That is something we are still very angry about.

The only two houses with chimney stacks that high that I can think of in that area are Mr Fishers house on the Rath Road and Prescotts house at Moygannon... ~x(

Just looked at this again and i think it could be Fishers
