Those of you who have taken up BT's Infinity fibre optic broadband may wish to know that you can upgrade to the new faster service for free Simply visit

and go from there. It does mean a new contract, and if you use a broadband phone that service will be discontinued - not much of a loss really as most people I know never really used it.

speeds will vary slightly during the first week or so and my speeds are tested with a base unit connected via Ethernet cable - Laptops will be slower.

Thanks for the tip Brian, I've just signed up. Currently getting. Approx.30 mb download and hopefully I will see an improvement.
