Report a fault (roads and footpaths)

#1 Post by Brian » Mon Mar 16, 2015 10:47 am

Quite a few people don't know that you can report faults directly on-line these days - now as to whether or not anyone actually fixes the faults is another thing but at least you have the option to do something.

You can report:

Damaged manhole or gully lid
Debris on road or foot-way
Drainage or flooding
Excessive weed growth
Faulty illuminated signs or bollards
Missing kerb
Mud on road
Obstruction on road or footway
Pothole in road or footway
Street light not working
Traffic signal not working
Uneven surface on footway

Signs at Clonallon Gds are nmdc's responsibility, I think everything else is Danny Kennedy's dept. so nothing will be done,as he has no money.....well,plenty of his own :rotfl:

Still no reason for 3 signs to put up with the wrong spelling, must be over 5 years like that,SF replied to my question but the answer was as useful as an ash tray on a moterbike.

it may be the case that your local councilors have thier very own discretinary budget for small issues like this but they dont like to mention it,they have this here in scotland but with regards to swamping them with all sorts of road and footway defects and drainage, streetlighting and other problems they will certainly take them on board but prioritise them but i have noticed here if you keep shouting they give in as they hate things annoying then constantly or disturbing thier sleep :D

Probably not as it is DRD that are responsible for potholes.
