Old baths postcard 1909

#1 Post by Brian » Thu Apr 01, 2010 1:28 pm

I bought this postcard on eBay, (just to have a baths one) - It is a Jones & sons postcard, posted just over 100 years ago in 1909 from Warrenpoint, the sender was staying in Mrs Nugent's house on the Donaghaguy road.

The text reads:

Dear Alice, We have just escaped being sea sick, nearly everybody was bad but us. This is a pretty place we are hoping to have a good time, hope you will enjoy your holiday yours Kate.

Brian - what a nice postcard to have.
I see it was a halfpenny to mail.
