McLoughlins of Milltown, Burren early 1900's

#1 Post by Elaine Mc » Sun Feb 26, 2017 6:39 am

Hello, Ive been researching my dads side of the family and im hoping someone can help me with some pictures. Im looking for any pics of any of the McLoughlin family from Milltown, my great grandmother was Elizabeth ( Lily) Mcloughlin and she married Daniel Byrne. I think she passed away around 1932? Her Father was James McLoughlin and his father was Terence McLoughlin. I think Hugh McLoughlin ran the Mill?? Any info or pics that anyone has would be greatly appreciated i would love to be able to see what they looked like. Or if you have any pics of anyone that you know is related to them would also be fabulous. Looking forward to some replies. Thank you for reading my post. Elaine

I've not come across any photos (yet) however there may be a few posts on site referring to the family as somebody else was also searching for information a few years back, Have a look at these posts and they might help.

The mill that is mentioned is a fairly famous landmark (although a ruin now) and can be seen on google earth and street view
