Tony - another great photo.
Phyllis is very like Martin in that
photo.
I wouldn't have recognised the actor
there, he was very thin and of course
young.

Phyllis Peers........I am very impressed.I have loved Liam Neeson since I first saw him as Blackie in "A woman of substance".I would love to know if he is as nice a person as he always seems to be

Joanne,

I don't know if Phyl will respond to this,
it took a bit of persuading to let me post
the photos.

They were together for two years, so we
got to see a lot of Liam.

You would not be disappointed, he is all
you would expect him to be, and was
always welcome at our table.

A lovely Guy who deserved all the fame
and fortune that came to him.

Here's an excerpt from an article in Vanity Fair:

And then there’s his voice: the gritty purr, the Irish lilt, hard and soft. “The first time Liam phoned up, my mum, who was in her 60s, answered,” says Richard Graham. “She spoke to him for 20 seconds, and when she handed me the phone she said, ‘Oh God, that’s the first time my knees have trembled in 45 years.’” Before Graham married (Neeson was his best man), his wife lived in a nurses’ dormitory; her friends used to wait in line at the pay phone to call Neeson’s answering machine, just to hear his voice.

When we were very little we used to go to concerts that the Peers sisters put on in their back garden - they were great entertainment.

Wow - so she went out with him - I thought she'd just bumped into him at a party! Where did they meet?
