Yes.Duke St has just mentioned him in another thread(Last day at Mcguffins corner).Don't think it is worth your while trying to name the woman ,as far as Mummy knows she was on holiday.I wonder where the photo was taken!

He was called Doc. by everyone and I never knew him by any other name, but I have a notion his name was Francie.

I personally have no memory or knowledge of Francis "Doc" Sheeky, but to continue the thread tenuously there are still two footballing luminaries living on Thomas Strasse...big Gerry O Rourke and Thomas Hanna..two thirds of a very intimidating full back line.
Big Gerry would have us believe that he is the present keeper of the actual match ball from the 1968 All Ireland Final..the last i saw of the pigskin it was being half volleyed out of the way by our Sheila as she settled herself down on Barbara's sofa for a "five hour" catch up!
I am sorry if i have digressed ,but my post does make mention of footer and Thomas St and Thomas Hanna always merit's a mention.

I got to know Francie or Doc when I first came to Hertfordshire 43 years ago,he was always in good form and loved talking about the Point. Always questions about people he knew and were they still alive, he enjoyed a pint or two but always good craic. Sadly he died some years back and leaves sons, a daughter, and grandchildren how many I not sure.
