Do you mean Patsy Bradley in The Madonna,Art?.I wonder why Daddy was in the St Anthony,as opposed to the Little Flower .
I particularly like the detail in the second photo......the swinging boats, customs men, gang planks for boarding the boats, children swimming in the water, brings back so many memories.

I think that may have been the year the flower was holed and lay up on the beach for most of the summer

The customers on these boats led a charmed life considering the way the boats were overloaded. Sunday was a favourite day to cross to Omeath if only to get away from the presbyterian Sunday rules.

Thanks Andy,I was wondering if that was the case, as I noticed one boat on the beach in the photo featuring Champions amusements

The Customs Building looks so
dilapidated in those photos.
Especially the roof.
All those people coming into the
town, and no benches or seats
to sit on.
Other than the Park of course.
Now you can sit anywhere along
there.

Thanks for posting these great
photos.

The boat on beach was possibly the Play Fair as opposed to the Fair Play. Both boats belonged to Danny O Neill. The Play Fair was used in winter as Pilot Launch. If this is not the Play Fair ,then it may be the Petrel belonging to Geordie Dinsmore.
