Deceased Name: Joseph Paul Summerfelt
Joseph Paul Summerfelt, 83, passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2008 in Austin. He was born on November 13, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Martha and Stanley Summerfelt. Joseph proudly served in the U. S. Army Air Corps where he was also an airplane and engine mechanic. Joseph was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be fondly remembered for his unselfish labor to insure comfort and provisions for his family.

Joseph will be sadly missed by his devoted wife of 57 years, Virginia; daughters, Audrey and husband Dan, Janice and husband Fred, and Karen and husband, Dan; sisters, Lucille and Leona; brothers, Ralph, Bob, and John; numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Funeral Home with a recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass Services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Emmaus Catholic Church, 1718 Lohmans Crossing Road. Interment will follow services at Cook-Walden/Forest Oaks Memorial Park.
