Letter from HMS Renown

From Jarlath McGregor
This is a letter ,sent to my late aunt in 1944,from HMS Renown ,it was from the late Patsy O'Donnell from Glasgow,his mum was the late Sarah O'Donnell/nee Gallagher. it make references to the unknown whereabouts of Willie and John, and to his aunt Mary's wedding on 3rd Feb 1944 and the fact he give her a watch, for a wedding present before he left on duty

After the war Patsy lived in Erdington West Midlands. The last itime i seen him was early 70s, the girl called Mary he was talking about was his sister she married Jim Maxwell.Mary came over to Ireland alot in the 60s. Willie and John are his borthers, sadly Willie was killed in France and is buried there. The Brendan he refered to must be Brendan Mc Ilmurray R.I.P
