This news will come as a major disappointment
to the many supporters of the Bridge Project.

It reinforces my view that Stormont have no
real interest in Capital Investment in the area.

No doubt there will have been discussions already
as to where the European money can be spent.

The reticence of our Political Leaders to approve
our share of the Funding, indicates a lack of
genuine interest in the Project.

A major opportunity to develop this part of the
Island has been lost, particularly considering the
paltry sum needed to make up the shortfall.

I, personally, am extremely disappointed.

spoke at length to a down [ but certainly not out] Jim Boylan last night..the Bridge Supremo has called for a period of calm after the NWB Project was dealt a four seam fast ball directly to the noggin .. and believe me if the selfless Boylan has anything to do with it the final curtain has not fallen to herald the end of this gig just yet !!

That's the spirit, Brian.
We may have lost a battle,
but we can still win the war. :clapping:
