Hi I am attempting to do my family tree my great nan was Sarah Dinsmore who married a Simon McDermott she died in 1939 at the age of 35 I think her parents were Mary Ellen waters and John Dinsmore if anyone can offer anything I would be grateful thank you x

I'll do my best and try to give you some information..
I can only go back too the forty's ..
As I was born in 1932..
My mother was a sister of a Jimmy Dinsmore's wife.
Maggie.Jimmys mother was Mary Ellen.Watters
Married Johnny Dinsmore..
I know my uncle Jimmy had brothers Paddy Geordie
and a Johnny..Their were sisters but I can't help you
there..As they left Warrenpoint when I was young..
All were very nice people..

Please find attached a link to the 1911 census which records your great gran at the age of 6. I will get some more information together for you as it's always great to hear from a relation (I am a grandson of Sarahs wee brother James).

Thank you very much Kathleen could his name be really James Dinsmore born about 1910 and if you don't mind me asking do you know if Maggie is short for anything you have been very helpful x
